Keith Tracy
Mr. Tracy has over 25 years of experience in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. He was instrumental in Chaparral Energy’s development of multiple CO2-EOR projects, including development and operations of carbon capture equipment and CO2 pipelines. Keith has law firm and in-house counsel experience and is a recognized expert on 45Q tax credits.
Bret Logue
Mr. Logue has over 25 years of experience in energy and technology, working on all aspects of project development: legal, financial, and operations, including over a decade working on carbon capture and storage projects. He served for ten years as an investment banker at Grandview Capital and prior to that as an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP focused on energy and project finance.
Michael Pepe
Mr. Pepe has led hundreds of project finance transactions in the power, oil & gas, mining, paper, telecom and transportation sectors for more than 30 years. At HSH Nordbank, he financed over $2 billion of wind projects. At Ambac, Deutsche Bank, Credit Lyonnais, and Banca Intesa, Mike led project finance teams to structure and underwrite loans and manage multibillion dollar portfolios.
Michael Schwartz
Mr. Schwartz has four decades of energy/IPP project development (gas, coal, alternative fuels) and finance experience. He served as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Co and a former SVP at Duke Energy where he developed the strategy for the renewables business and created a CCS business. Extensive experience in power off-take and utility regulatory policies and strategies.
David Watson
Mr. Watson has over 20 years of energy and project finance experience, focusing on originating, negotiating, closing, restructuring and monitoring debt financings. Mr. Watson worked for Progress Energy where he structured and priced complex merchant power transactions. At Dresdner Bank, David structured, analyzed and managed project finance transactions and at HSH Nordbank financed numerous wind projects.
Michael Blincow
Subsurface Operations
Mr. Blincow has over 40 years of upstream oil and gas experience. Mike has worked in the CCS arena for over a decade with Occidental Petroleum, Denbury and C12. He led several of Denbury’s CO2 EOR start ups and as Director of CO2 Supply for Denbury, he was responsible for screening and acquisition of anthropogenic sources of CO2. Mike was SVP of Operations for C12 where he managed operations, capture and EOR facility design and drilling.
Razza Shah
Mr. Shah is a Geoscientist with over 10 years of experience working in petroleum geoscience. Prior to joining Elysian, Mr. Shah was the founder of a subsurface modeling group focused on evaluating CO2 storage opportunities for industrial emitters. Mr. Shah previously worked on oil field development projects at two joint ventures with Oxy Petroleum (Al Hosn Gas and Tatweer Petroleum).
